Uniforms

The Boy Scouts of America has always been a uniformed body. Its uniforms help to create a sense of belonging. They symbolize character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Wearing a uniform gives youth and adult members a sense of identification and commitment.

Troop 228 Uniform:

  • Official Shirt(Short sleeve preferred)
  • Official BSA Green Shorts or Pants
  • Official BSA Belt
  • Troop 228 Neckerchief (provided by Troop)
  • Neckerchief Slide
  • Official BSA Merit Badge Sash (to be worn at formal events)
  • Class B T-Shirt (When Official Shirt is not required)

Shirt should be tucked in at all times
Pants should be around waist at all times.

Shoelaces must be tied.
